Adelaide Warbirds - About Us
Adelaide Warbirds is owned and operated by Emily and Ashley Spurling, both ex Royal Australian Naval Officers.
All of our pilots with the exception of one, are current or past serving military personnel. All of our pilots are very safety conscious.
Adelaide Warbirds pride ourselves on safety and professionalism. We operate reliable and safe aircraft.
Safety is our priority, followed closely by your enjoyment.
Our Mission is to provide the opportunity for customers to share in the experience of flight, and to promote public interest in vintage and military aviation.
Adelaide Warbirds operates out of Parafield Airport. We seek to increase the public’s awareness of military and vintage aviation and to that end utilise the Classic Jets Fighter Museum as our shop front.
Whilst you are waiting for your flight, or afterwards, whilst re-gathering your land legs, please take time to walk through the Museum. The aircraft here have all been lovingly restored by volunteers and some have quite significant histories.

What happens on the day
The time you have booked for you flight is the time that you should arrive, if you arrive early you are free to look around the museum.
When you arrive you will be greeted by your pilot and then given a brief on your flight. The brief will cover the aircraft, the details of your planned flght, aerobatics (if relevant), and you will be asked to sign a liability waiver.
You will then proceed to the aircraft where the pilot will suit you up in a lifejacket and you will have your photograph taken. (You will have the option to purchase a certificate containing this photograph for $15).
Once seated in the aircraft you will be given a Safety Brief prior to launching on the experience of a lifetime!
